Women on Women Boat Party along the Thames

Date:               Friday 3 June 2011, 8pm-midnight
Location:
        Departing from Embankment Pier

Planet London’s Naomi revisited the WOW Boat Party for its second event on Friday 3 June, departing from Embankment pier. We were delighted to attend along with the recent winner, Caren Maguire, of our newsletter prize draw.

The second event raised the bar and not only maintained everything that was good about the first night – an exclusive intimate event with a great atmosphere and good value, and a fun mix of lesbians, but also added extra features.

It being June, it of course stays lighter longer in the evening, making a departure of 8pm feel early. However, a well scheduled live music performance from upcoming, popular musician Jill Jackson set a fabulous vibe into the atmospheric night fall. The weather was also perfect for taking in the sights on the open deck and acted as a great place to step away from the dancefloor to talk to the ladies.

Other entertainment was on offer on the lower deck - novelist Louise Rought was present to meet guests and sign copies of her book, there was a raffle to win a holiday from Further Afield and Jill Jackson was signing copies of her CD.

Can’t wait until the next WOW party!

Date:               Saturday 2 April 2011, 8pm-midnight
Location:
        Departing from Temple Pier

On Saturday 2 April, Naomi from Planet London went along to the Women on Women WOW Boat Party along the Thames.
An intimate event, good company, lively pop classics for dancing and the spectacular London by night views. This exclusive event did not disappoint. For a £35 ticket, drinks were reasonably priced (a vodka lemonadge just £3.40) and the atmosphere was just right to socialise, meet new friends and dance the night away - and what a pleasant change to mix with lesbians other than the usual suspects.

Keep your eyes peeled for their next event!
