Venue: Stokey Stop
Date: 10 June 2014
It was up close and personal as the venue set up meant the audience got to look Peace right in the eye. Awesome acoustics, smouldering summer heat and mood lighting really gave the feel of intimacy and for added a special atmospheric feeling to the set.
Peace was on fire, with stunning vocals, moody piano and a delicate guitar. Opening with good humour and appreciation of her fans, then the title track of the second album, Peace set the tone for the hour long set.
A particular highlight was the best friend dedication House for your broken heart that many of the audience clearly related to. The final anthemic (and also first single off the album).
We Can Change uplifted the crowd to a high energy ending. There was a very personal feel to all the songs, and Peace's interaction with the crowd, which certainly seemed to please.
