Southbank surfing In the City @ London Wall Bar and Grill

Date: Friday 17 August
Venue: London Wall Bar and Grill
Price: Free entry

A gorgeous Summer's night saw us try out the new Southbank surfing venue that promised to offer enough space for the growing guest list at SBS.

It did not disappoint. London Wall Bar and Grill is a friendly, accessible venue with plenty of outdoor terrace space both covered and uncovered providing shelter when it starts to get cold, full of a reasonable amount of reserved seating both indoors (for those needing cosy) and outdoors.

The venue is a City venue so expect prices to match (eg £7.50 per cocktail and £4.80 for single + mixer) but there was a decent drinks menu. The bar service was much quicker than many experienced at the BFI, with an outdoor cash bar as an additional bonus.

It didn't have BFI's massive number of 20 toilets (were you spoilt much?!) but there were enough to cope with all of us, and who knows you might meet when waiting in the queue anyway?

As always the lovely hosts were available to check everyone there was having a good old time.

If you haven't been to SBS before, or you'd given it a break due to the crowds at the BFI, we recommend you pop along to the next one!
